The role

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our core product team. The ideal candidate has deep domain expertise, strong communication skills, can work autonomously and make technical and strategic decisions.

You will have complete ownership of the Cloud architecture, designing and implementing robust and scalable Cloud infrastructure solutions that support high-performance computing for cutting edge AI/ML, data analysis and visualisation, and scientific research. You will develop a data app deployment platform by collaborating closely with our small team of very experienced software engineers. You will also have the opportunity to leverage our strong open source community to quickly test features, get rapid feedback and iterate fast.

Remote work, regardless of location, is on a CET +/- 3 hours timezone.

Skills and qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience developing Cloud Solutions
  • Proficient with IaC tooling (Terraform, Pulumi)
  • K8S ecosystem (container registry, container runtime, etc.)
  • AWS (IAM, ECS, RDS, S3, Route53)
  • CI/CD tooling (Github actions, ArgoCD, Flux)
  • Monitoring tooling (Datadog; being able to create dashboards, actionable alerts)
  • Secret storage administration and usage experience (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)
  • Able to apply and design workflow using GitOPS
  • Authentication and authorization tooling
  • Docker, Nginx
  • Strong command of Linux
  • Fluent English
  • Open source experience (preferred)
  • BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science (preferred)
