You most definitely can! We support 35 web UI components at the moment and we’ll keep on adding more. Check out our component gallery to see if there’s everything you need. If you want to use custom components, you can add them by editing the code of your app. Check this guide to learn how.

We use PlotlyJS, which gives you access to 40+ charts including statistical, financial, scientific charts, maps and 3D visualizations. You can also integrate 3rd party Javascript libraries by following this guide.

You can use the styling menu or the AI Assistant in Genie Builder, but if you prefer to use CSS that’s possible too. In a Genie app you can use inline CSS style attributes or define your own stylesheets in the public/ folder and import them. You can also use the popular Tailwind CSS framework to style your Genie app. Learn more in this styling guide.

No. JuliaHub allows you to work with a hosted version of Genie Builder, on a pre-configured VSCode environment that just works, and also offers you the ability to deploy your apps easily, in one-click.

However, if you prefer to use Genie Builder on your machine and deploy your apps elsewhere, we offer a local version for an annual license fee. Fill in this form, and we’ll get back to you with a quote.

If you want to use Genie Builder on JuliaHub, yes. If you’re an individual user, you’ll have to create a free standard account on JuliaHub. The first 10 hours using Genie Builder are free, then you’ll be charged by usage. Once you’re done building your app, you can download it and deploy it elsewhere.

On JuliaHub, individual users get the first 10 hours free, then are charged $0.99/hr with a cap of max $50/month. This price includes the Genie Builder license and JuliaHub’s infrastructure costs (default machine). For teams and enterprises, we offer a seat-based annual subscription. Contact us for more info.
